Experiences such as, being one of the official dancers of the “Boston Celtics”, Coaching the “Lil’ Phunk” Celtics Dancers, performing at Jordan’s Furniture’s “ Camp Miracles,” performing at concerts for radio stations like, “Hot 97.7,” and “Kiss 108,” appearing with artists such as, Amerie, Britney Spears, Daniel Bedingfeild, TLC, Michelle Branch, Ashanti, Ja Rule, Wayne Wonder, Jewel, Lisa Marie Presley, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Dream, Stacie Orrico, and Amanda Perez. Liana can’t thank Reia Connor (director and founder of Phunk Phenomenon) enough for all she has done for her. She has given Liana so many wonderful opportunities that have not only helped her grow as a dancer, but also as a person; she thanks Reia for all of her support. Liana also thanks her students, who made her teaching experience a wonderful one. Liana would like to thank her family for all of the love and support they have shown throughout her whole career. Without her family Liana would not have been able to accomplish her goals as a performer. Liana’s dream is to expand as much as possible as a performer in any way she can. Now as well as in the past, she will continue to strive to be the best she can be, and continue to live a life filled with the love of dance. Liana is currently working on expanding her career as a performer. She is now working on her singing career. Liana has always had a love for singing. Right now Liana is in the Dominican Republic working on a production with the great singer and songwriter, Ramon Orlando. She will keep you posted.
Singer | Back to TopLiana Veda is a true performer. With dancing and singing at the root of her existence, she has decided to take her talents to the next level. This Latina recording artist is in the final stages of recording her debut album, to be released first in the Dominican Republic. This bachata-pop album is under the production of the talented singer and song writer Ramon Orlando, named the best composer of the Dominican Republic. By his side in this project is the gifted Jose Antonio, who has written a few of the tracks on the album as well. This album is going to stand out from many other bachata albums that are out right now. Not only because liana is a female performer, and bachata is typically a male dominated style of music, but also because of its contemporary swing. Within the next few months, this album will be released in both the Dominican Republic and the united stated. Liana plans on touring in both countries as well. Liana would like to thank all of her friends and family for always supporting her, and guiding her through the journey to reach all of her goals as a performer. Singing influences | Back to TopI have always loved to sing. I grew up on music by Gloria Estefan, Selena, Ramon Orlando, La India, and DLG, just to name a few. I am a music fanatic! Being a dancer at heart, I would listen to anything and everything that would make me move. I would have to say that vocally, Selena has to be my biggest influence. Her voice, her style, and her stage presence always amazed me. I would imitate all of her videos and sing along with all of her cds. As a child I even used to enter Selena look alike contests, and succeeded in winning a few. Her down to earth manner is what I admired the most. No matter what level she was at in her career, she never changed. Latin music has always been my favorite, bachata especially. Unfortunately I never had a female bachata singer to look up to, because as a child there weren’t any. Even now there are very few. Some current bachata signers that I admire are, Jimmy Bauer, Dominic m., Zacharias Ferreira, Yoskar Sarante, Joe Veras, and Luis Miguel del Amargue. Articles, Press, Links | Back to Top
